From the correspondence of Princess C. Morningstar af Platinum ap Everfree ap Equestria and Lady Twilight S. af Twilight, E.H.; delivered via flamefax spring 1377.
My most faithful student,
I received an interesting letter this morning from Spike. It was wrapped in one of your scrolls and appeared, at first glance, to have come from you.
The letter inside was in unfamiliar hoofwriting and was unsigned, though it was addressed directly to me. It contained details on events that it claimed were going to happen in the future, along with certain private information that convinced me that this is either genuine or a very involved prank.
I would appreciate your help in discovering the source of this letter. If this is genuine, there may be someone using time travel magic to try and alter the current course of events. If it is not, I would still like to find the sender in order to ask them where they came by the information that it contained.
Your teacher,
Princess Celestia
I did some sneaky edits to previous section titles. The actual names are pretty much irrelevant to the story (at least at the moment), but I thought it would be doing the format a disservice if I didn't add at least a little bit of deeper meaning in the way they're patterned.

Her first name, mentioned in a previous part. She's pretty much just "Miss Cheerilee" to all the foals and nine-tenths of the adults in town, though.
Huh, wait what. You mean he came at the very least, before the end of Season 3. Or did we find that out before and I just forgot?
If anyone has a good head on their shoulders to figure out this weird nonsense, it'd be Celestia. Interesting...
Also, "Morningstar"...sounds very appropriate, actually. I could imagine that being a terrifying name to behold when Equestria ever went to war.

Yes, season 3 hasn't happened yet.
The timeline's a bit jiggered around to try and squeeze more consistency out of it, but neither has a certain important event in season 2, either...
Oh, snap, and even keeping it potentially canon, if the event is what I think it may be.
I've been searching but my google-fu is weak. What the hay does "af" and "ap" mean in titles and addresses?
I'm not sure I'd use the term "flamefax" unless you explicitly intend to imply that the scroll which arrives isn't the same scroll which was burned. (I don't know about the its use in names like Shadowfax but, in the technological sense, "fax" is a shortening of "facsimile machine")
