Why the fuck did I post this during EFNW

I have just, in an airport bar, finished the latest chapter of No Room For Regret. I'm tempted to just post it as is, without editing, though that would probably be a bad idea.

Galacon got me into the mood to finish, I guess.

I have had no opinion on the fimfic update until now, except that it's got some interesting features, but a few days ago I was looking over No Room For Regret in preparation for the next chapter going up in a little while, and I found out that the tags I'd used to make the fancy side-by-side translation of Star and Zecora's conversation in chapter 3 were busted.

Only now I look again, they're not, but something is still a bit broken.

Yes, another chapter of No Room For Regret has appeared, after a whole year of bugger all and nothing. I actually sat on this for a very long time, trying to re-write it, trying to improve it, because I had become obsessive about the words. Trapped in the... the filler, that's how I felt.

I've inlined the translation for that long section of foreign language - and yes it is real, for a given value of real. It's a "constructed" creole of English and isiZulu with a few Xhosa words thrown in for good measure, because I like to tinker with

I'm stuck.

That is I'm stuck on No Room For Regret, for which I've been promising updates for the last few months. Sad to say the current chapter has been an absolute bastard to put together properly - I've re-written it entirely from scratch at least three times now.

I know you all want something to show up soon and I don't want to disappoint you. It's just... well I'm frustrated, lets put it that way.
