Okay, so I may have been overly optimistic about my "five chapters in three months" goal in the last post. Following the release of Chapter 18 Part 2 of TToTS, I think it is time to focus on making the gateway to the story something I can feel proud of. I am genuinely ashamed of the initial chapters compared to the newer ones, and actively avoid sharing its existence with new readers because of it. Fillies and Gentlecolts, I am happy to announce that the Chapter One rewrite will soon be completed, not only doubling the wordcount, but adding a lot more depth to the inciting events of the story. In fact, the chapter has changed so much--namely in the removal of the older sisters framing device--that it is being renamed from "A Story Two-thousand Years in the Making" to "A Wizard's Duty"!

I have just released a major update to Chapter Two of The Tale of Two Sisters. I wouldn't announce a typical change, but this has been a significant addition. To aid the flow of the story and create a more fulfilling arc per-chapter, I have divided a significant portion of the unreleased Chapter Three to append Chapter Two with over 1,300 words, making the chapter over a third longer.
