I'm disappointed in myself for not getting the next chapter of Brotherly Bonding Time out before March ended. I'm not even going to bother with the excuses, I should just be brainstorming or writing whenever I'm bored during my free time.
But, whatever, I do have a little sneak peek for you guys, because I'm feeling a little generous today.
I said that I was going to write as much as I could with my Halloween high. Well, it's almost Halloween, and I have made very little progress on Brotherly Bonding Time. I swear, it's always the beginning scenes of a chapter that always get me stuck in some bad writer's block (where while you know the big picture, the details escape you, especially when hopping from one subject to the next), and it doesn't help that I get distracted by stupid games and videos too easily and that I've been
At last, after three and a half years, we have reached Brotherly Bonding Time's grand finale.
"Yo, Sketch, isn't it a little early to be posting that little thing? You haven't finished the fic yet!"
Well, at this point, that end part the song covers that I haven't written in the fic yet is just a general vague direction that anyone who's reading the fic has already figured out. I haven't spoiled any details, so I still have several things under wraps to surprise readers with.
As I dove into research to make sure that I at least get some court procedure right for Brotherly Bonding Time's next chapter, a thought occurred to me. At what point do I draw a line between something that would fit into Equestrian culture and something as close as possible to how a real trial might work (give or take a few things, I've never been to a trial, so I have to rummage through stuff on the web and worry that I'm missing something)?
Few things I'm gonna ramble about because I'm a little frustrated and gotta let off some steam.
1. Mane Six Families
So, I've been thinking that the next arc of Brotherly Bonding Time should be a "too many cooks spoil the broth" kind of thing (at least for Cheese's side of the story; Tomato's being babysat by cousins in the meantime), and while I know one OC of mine who I'm going to be using... any ideas for who else I should use? I'd like to use canon characters, so throw some ideas at me.

So, I was in the mood for singing my little BBT Scene based on Unleash the Magic, but the video I linked wasn't working, so I plopped over to YouTube to try to find another instrumental version of the song. What's frustrating is that all the ones I find have the backing vocals, which I don't want.
And then, I stumbled across this:
This is something that has been rattling in my brain ever since the Las Pegasus segment of Brotherly Bonding Time: Should I change the story's rating to Teen? Are there any other genre tags that should be added to the story, or are the tags fine as is?
Hello, everybody! I hope you're enjoying the first day of October, because I'm sure having a nice day. 
Anyway, right now I have a little bit of a concern. Nothing too serious, but it still bugs me.
In case you're wondering which scene, it's that certain one at the end of the Manehattan arc involving Cheese and the other guy messing with his mind. I based that scene on "Unleash the Magic" (best EQG song, IMO), and I had crafted the dialogue with that scene to try to match that song as well as I could should it be written in lyrics. It was an interesting exercise to say the least.
In case you're wondering, I'm bored as heck right now.

Well, since the last cover was bare bones, and didn't really say much about the story other than the main characters, I decided to whip up a new one... one that would give me hand cramp, much like when I decided to make a new cover for The Rock Farmer's Daughters (how many of you remember when I did that?).

No, this episode did not make me like Maud--you'll get me to eat pickled beets without puking before you get me to like her. 
I just watched the episode because A) I want to watch all the episodes of MLP at least once, and B) I wanted to see more of Manehattan so that I have a better idea of what Tomato sees every day.
Speaking of Tomato, this episode brought up something that made a little something going on with Tomato in Brotherly Bonding Time actually plausible!
So, I've started writing the next chapter of Brotherly Bonding Time, and, well, I'm not putting spoiler warnings on this one because I'm currently trying to figure out something and I'd like your guys' input.
Excuse me for being a little late, but I was sleeping over at a cousin's house, and then went home... only to be visited by more cousins. 
Still, at the house I was sleeping at, I ended my hiatus of Brotherly Bonding Time! I had it all prepared before midnight, and as soon as the New Year arrived, I published the chapter and officially ended the hiatus! 
Well, since I'm bored and whatnot, I decided to give you a nice little journal about my current longrunner (which is currently on break for the season while I focus on my Hearth's Warming fics), Brother Bonding Time.
