Some reflections · 3:07am Nov 4th, 2016
After going back and doing a bit of work on this story, I started thinking, as I am wont to do.
This was, I think, my first Weedverse story.
After going back and doing a bit of work on this story, I started thinking, as I am wont to do.
This was, I think, my first Weedverse story.
But if the chapters to Princess Luna's Suicide Solutions suddenly vanish...
DON'T PANIC!
I spent a good size chunk of yesterday reading over the story, my notes, then reading the story again, and thinking about an overhaul. I don't know what I'm going to do just yet, but if I'm going to finish this, the part that's already there needs some cleaning up in a big way.
Alone, in a corner, curled up with a large book titled The Enigma of Oleander, Graves was reading quietly to himself, his long ears framing his face as he peered down into his book.
This quote comes from Princess Luna's Suicide Solutions. Which is linked to by this blog post.
This quote was also a teaser when it was posted.
I've been working on this story idea for a while, The Enigma of Oleander.
The orphanage was quiet, or at least as quiet as an orphanage could be. Outside, it was raining. The desert, always harsh and unforgiving, had suffered a change of moods. Now, instead of being searingly hot and dry, it was miserably cold and wet. Inside, it was chilly, much colder than usual, cold enough that Holly had turned the radiators, which filled the air with an ambient background noise of dings, tings, and the creaking of metal.
Spoilers ahead!
Everybody can freak out now.
That is all.
The Merriweather resolution has finally happened in Princess Luna's Suicide Solutions.
I can finally breathe again. I've been delaying this because of how mind breakingly bad the whole thing was to deal with.
A new chapter of Princess Luna's Suicide Solutions is coming.
The delay is quite simple. In my spare time, what little there is, I've been digesting psychology articles about sexual trauma. We will be dealing with Merriweather very soonish. I finally have my resolution and how I want to handle the situation.
So, in just a little while, we will have a new chapter. Expect FEELS!
Noctilucent slips into evil and begins to torture the orphans, starting with Shortbread Cookie and Pyrocumulus.
The word Schadenfreude is prominently featured in this new chapter.
There will be a new chapter today. I finally have my Merriweather solution. I think. Trying to work this out has damn near killed me. I've become a neurotic mess trying to approach it in what I hope will be a realistic way.
So now, now I can continue the story but the middle part still needs some tweaking.
Edit: These 4:42 am blog sessions are therapeutic.
Is there any character you feel hasn't been fleshed out fully? (Biscuit remains an enigma intentionally)
How do you feel about the story?
We are now beginning the recovery arc, where the real healing finally begins. Expect some ups and downs.
But in general, I need your feedback if I want to make this story better. How do you feel about everything that has taken place thus far. The more you can summarise, the better I feel I can write the second half.
I really wanted to show that you can be a flawed individual and still be an inspiration to others. Even a broken individual. Sometimes, our flaws are our strengths, our greatest potential assets that we as people have. Even the most broken of us have the potential for greatness and we should never forget that.
And I do too.
Is the word of the day in Princess Luna's suicide solutions.
Quirky's teat-milk is going to have a frightening effect upon one of the foals. Soon, we shall see the flaming foal of doom. Doom.

I imagine foal rearing to be a trying experience in Equestria. Flying little pegasi, little unicorns zapping things, strong little earth pony foals throwing temper tantrums.
Look at it. So stark and beautiful. Summons up the entire moment.
Blog post wrap up blog post wrap up!
As determined by the reader poll, a lunar pegasus foal is coming soonish to PLSS. Probably chapter 20 or thereabouts.
Pyrocumulus: lunar pegasi- dark fiery orange and grey with bright orange eyes. Newborn. Named with the hope that Noctilucent will one day share the foal with a certain special somepony.
So there you have it.
