In Starfleet, it's not that they don't BELIEVE in friendship, because they do, just not the way Twilight and Friends do. They don't believe friendship is a bad thing... they are all god friends, they lookout for one another, and team up in battles too...

And most of my comments weren't directed towards his death battles specifically, it was just Lightning's power in general. And it was hardly the main focus.
