Director Damocles moonlights as bumbling wannabe superhero The Owl. After being humiliated unintentionally by Ladybug and Chat Noir, he becomes Dark Owl--who proves to be one of Hawk Moth's most dangerous minions.
When Alya's energetic little sisters refuse to behave, Hawk Moth transforms them into a menace so great that Ladybug is forced to seek help from Master Fu, resulting in the birth of a third Miraculous hero in Paris: Rena Rouge.

And with all of my light,
The new Miraculous Season 5 episode Deflagration, part of the two-parter The Kwami's Choice, is the best freaking episode in Miraculous so far. If you're gonna watch it, watch the first part then the second part.
We get a dance scene from the main antagonist, to put it simply. God, it was 1am and I just burst out laughing at how wacky the whole thing was!
Ironically, this teaser was released three months after I started planning the as-yet unpublished fourth chapter of Disastrous, which does debut the new holder of the Bee Miraculous. (If you can't guess who it is...)
In a perverse twist of...whatever, the Christmas special of Miraculous Ladybug is now available on Netflix--and is the only episode of the series presently available on Netflix.
I've already reviewed the Christmas special, so all I'm going to say is Cristina Vee delivered SPECTACULARLY with her songs, the rest of the cast really killed it, and even Bryce Papenbrook managed to turn in a decent singing performance for once. Not great, but...not as bad as I was fearing.
A Ladybug fic I've been sitting on for a while is now up!

For everyone watching Miraculous Ladybug in the US:
After the Valentine's skip, Nickelodeon has changed the timeslot for Ladybug on us.
Miraculous Ladybug isn't at noon Eastern now. It's at 7pm Eastern. Still on Sundays, but in the evening.
I hate when they do this. 
If I hadn't already known a 2/21 airdate was confirmed for "Horrificator", I would have missed this.
Okay so, as I reported earlier today:
Miraculous Ladybug is now available for streaming on Netflix. In English, French, and a couple of other languages.
Now, as excited as some of you might be to get home and binge this all weekend if you've not seen the entire first season yet, there IS a caveat:
The episode order is COMPLETELY MIXED UP.
A shy writer with low self-esteem and a crush on Nathaniel is Akumatized when a misunderstanding crushes his spirit.
So on November 3, we get the season finale of Miraculous Ladybug.
The episode title is "Mayura".
Mayura is the name of the new supervillain who will join Hawk Moth--the user of the Peacock Miraculous.
This is not a full review (I won't be reviewing episodes 18 and onward until much later) but I just needed to say something after having just watched this episode.
