EMERGING DETAILS: Miraculous Ladybug on Netflix: What you need to know! · 8:02pm Feb 10th, 2017

Okay so, as I reported earlier today:

Miraculous Ladybug is now available for streaming on Netflix. In English, French, and a couple of other languages.

Now, as excited as some of you might be to get home and binge this all weekend if you've not seen the entire first season yet, there IS a caveat:

The episode order is COMPLETELY MIXED UP.

Beyond Climatika/Stormy Weather, the episodes are just completely in a bizarre order. (As in, Princess Fragrance is S1E4 on Netflix.)

While generally speaking, Miraculous Ladybug can be viewed in any order, it is STRONGLY recommended you (mostly--see below exceptions) follow the French episode order--with the exception of watching the "Origins" two-parter first if you'd prefer.

In order to help first-time viewers sort through the confusion, I am going to provide the optimal order in which to view the episodes. If you've never watched Miraculous Ladybug before, you'll want to pay close attention.

EDIT: Also, the Ladybug Christmas special IS on Netflix, but it's floating around separately, detached from the series proper, so don't forget to queue it too!

Episodes marked with an * deviate from the French episode order, but there's a reason for this, trust me.

Origins, Part 1 (Ladybug & Chat Noir)*
Origins, Part 2 (Stoneheart)*
Stormy Weather
The Bubbler
Copycat
Timebreaker
M. Pigeon
Lady Wifi
The Pharaoh
Rogercop
Evillustrator
Dark Cupid
Horrificator
Darkblade
The Mime
Kung Food
The Gamer
Animan
Antibug
The Puppeteer
Reflekta
Pixelator*
Guitar Villain*
Princess Fragrance*
Simonsayz*
Volpina

That helps out to get the "right" order. Granted, from what I recall, Mr. Astruc stated the origin specials are generally meant to be watched after the season, but this is handy

4416902 Yeah but that's a French thing. For some reason, French cartoons prefer to do origin stories REALLY late in the series.

4416917 Really? I just thought he wanted to do a In Media Res sort of deal

4416927 Nah, it's pretty common in French cartoons. Totally Spies! and Code Lyoko did the same thing.

4416974 Oh right, right. The origins got a TV movie, and Code Lyoko was....GOD, I can't remember how far in it was till the origins episode(s). I also need to continue watching Evolutions

4416980 Unless you find somewhere else to watch it online, like Youtube, or watching along in a reaction video

4416980 Season 2 doesn't start in France until May, dood... (Also, we'll get it in June on Netflix, and by all accounts we'll get the whole season in one go.)

4416984 Code Lyoko's origins episodes were at the end of season 3, IIRC.

4417011 God that was an awesome show

I have a question. Why do you change your profile picture with the Rebellion logo? Are you against Trump?

4417734 I am strongly against Trump and his entire administration, but I would prefer not to discuss politics on FiMF anymore. :twilightsheepish: Also, this is not the place to ask questions like that. If you have something to ask me/say to me that has nothing to do with the subject of a blog post or story, PLEASE use the PM system for that.

4417789 Okay, I will next time. Sorry for that question.
