Here's what Ava DuVernay, Golden Globe nominated director of Selma, had to say on the rumors:
“I guess I'll declare my independence from this rumor on 4th of July weekend and Essence weekend!” she said. “I'm not signing on to direct Black Panther.”
This is my late review cause I watch the film on Tuesday.
To be honest, I actually like the film and I feel many people hate on this film too much.
I get they prefers Ant-Man movies to be small-scale lighthearted movie but I feel it make sense this movie to be larger scale cause their main villain is Kang the Conqueror who will be the Thanos of Multiverse Saga.
I recently got back from watching The Marvels and this might be unpopular opinion... I'm not sure that is right words for it but I honestly like it.
Probably more than Captain Marvel movie in my opinion.
After momentarily passing on the opportunity to play the next “Spider-Man” villain, Michael Keaton is back in talks to join Sony’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”
Director Scott Derrickson, fresh off the success of such horror films as Sinister and The Exorcism of Emily Rose takes a wild and mind bending leap into the magical main stream with his entry into the sprawling, wildly beloved Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Strange.
Color me hyped as all get out!
Cate Blanchett, best known for playing Galadriel in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films, and a two time Oscar winner (Best Supporting Actress, The Aviator; Best Actress, Blue Jasmine), is currently in talks to appear in Thor: Ragnarok!
Well, its been a long road, with many names tossed about, but it seems Marvel and Sony have chosen the Spider-Man that shall join the MCU.
Chapters 1-4 have been edited. Nothing major to change in them re: story, but I fixed a few spelling/grammatical errors that I saw.
I will keep you posted as I continue. Stay tolerant, my friends.
Okay, so the first chapter of Equestria Girls/Spider-Man Book 1: Amazing on October 8th, 2018. That was the day I not only began that story, but also began the EQuestria Girls Marvel Universe (EQGMU).
And 11 days ago on 10/08/2019, we reached the one year mark. One year, many chapters, a lot of fun along the way.
I really need to leave myself reminders for this stuff.
According to Variety's sources, Academy Award nominee Michael Keaton (Birdman, Batman 1989) is currently being eyed to play a villain in the upcoming MCU Spider-Man film, which is titled Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Michael B. Jordan (Creed, Fantastic Four, Fruitville Station) is in talks to once more collaborate with writer/director Ryan Coogler in the upcoming Black Panther film, in an as yet unnamed role.
Confirming a long held rumor, Robert Downey Jr. will indeed be appearing in Spider-Man: Homecoming, partly due to how well he and Tom Holland (who is playing Peter Parker) got along on the set of Captain America: Civil War.
It is currently unknown how big Downey Jr.'s role is going to be.
I went to see Captain America: Civil War the other day with my dad. Captain America 3 is good. Even though it was very loosely based on the comic version Civil War. It was still a good adaptation. aND THAT realy i have to say about the movie w/o giving too much away. And yes the new spiderman is now my fav Spiderman (So sorry TobeyvMaguire but you have been replace. But do THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY heart emoticon b/c if it wasnt for the 2002 spiderman, than i wouldnt have gotten intop comic
Watched it back in the middle of May. Finally getting around to sharing my thoughts on it here.
So. In a nutshell?
Glad to have seen it. Easily the best MCU movie since "No Way Home" or "Endgame".
Captain America: Civil War is, to put it simply, the best film the MCU has given us so far. Picking up in the wake of the utter complete disaster that was Age of Ultron, Civil War works not only to restore the damage that Age of Ultron caused, but also follow up on the remaining plot threads from The Winter Soldier, while also laying groundwork for Phase Three of
