Marvel: Michael Keaton in talks to play villain in MCU Spider-Man film · 3:21am Apr 14th, 2016
According to Variety's sources, Academy Award nominee Michael Keaton (Birdman, Batman 1989) is currently being eyed to play a villain in the upcoming MCU Spider-Man film, which is titled Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Marvel and Sony, who are co-producing the production, haven't yet given any comment, but Variety is the oldest, and most reliable entertainment news source in the world, so it's obvious that this is totally happening.
I for one, am very hyped up. Now, of course, is the question of who Michael Keaton will be playing? What Spider-Man villain can you guys imagine Michael Keaton portraying? I'm rooting for Norman Osborn.
But what about you guys?
He looks like Norman Osborn.
I heard from probably unreliable sources that the Vulture is being thrown around for the villain.
Which would make for a hilarious coincidence.
Don't know who he could play. Either Norman Osborn or The Vulture.
I was going to say Norman Osborn or the vulture, but everyone beat me to it.
Easy. He played Birdman. Vulture.
I'm not so sure about Osborn. I mean, he looks the part of Norman, but I don't know if he could play a good Goblin. Maybe I just haven't seen enough of Keaton.
3870203 Oh, I think he has the talent.
3870711 And if he won't play Vulture, maybe we'll finally get Malkovich.
