Well, its been a long road, with many names tossed about, but it seems Marvel and Sony have chosen the Spider-Man that shall join the MCU.

British Actor Tom Holland will play Peter Parker, and so far has delivered acclaimed performances in films like The Impossible, and tv series' like Wolf Hall. He's a new face, but one with skill.

Marvel has also chosen indie newcomer Jon Watts, whose thriller Cop Car premiered at Sundance this year and was well recieved.
