I think discodia would be better as the genius, they both have a similar personality even,jafar could be the shadow, grogar or tirek,jasmine could be rarity, amber, sweetie belle,appleblom,Applejack or twilight, the sultan could be the obvious father of one of them

Perfect. Here's my idea for the rest of the main characters:
Abu: Thorax.
Jasmine: Sweetie Belle along with AppleBloom & Scootaloo as sister's.
Genie: Discord.
Carpet: Guest staring as himself.
Sultan: Fancy Pants.
Jafar: Blueblood.
Iago: Angel Bunny.
P.S. if this story does come into fruition, Will there be mentioning of the Dancing Elephants & Camel Sister's during the FRIEND LIKE ME number, including the mentioned of Carpet dancing along the Camel sister's & the elephants tossing Spike into the air with their trunks?
