It's not too hard to do Zecora Rhyming. It's all a matter of pentameter and timing.
It's pretty easy to do it right but when you do it's quite a sight!
The measure, the meter, the rhythm and time when done precisely is quite sublime!
Although some may find it a tedious duty the truth is that it's a thing of great beauty.
So with that said what I have left to say is good luck with your rhyming! Have a nice day! :raritywink:

It seems you're confused inside of your head; it's the third, not the fourth; try tomorrow instead.

If you do not care about the meter, I for one won't call you a cheater. In my opinion it is fine as long as you find a decent rhyme.

4684374 Oh!? What is this we have here, a game so silly it seems,
perhaps one may learn something new but most will be without the mind to.

4684397

The meter I can easily eschew and for pointing that out I'm compelled to thank you.
Still, rhyming isn't really all that difficult, a sufficent vocabulary's what that's all about!
If you have enough words you can rhyme anything and look at all the fun it can bring!
So with that said, and meter aside, let's all enjoy this fun rhyming ride!

Silly games are often quite fun!
We'll all have a laugh when it's all said and done. :raritywink:

Practice is essential, that much is true
so as for your rhyming, good luck to you!
But after much practice and, as you can see
execution of rhyming comes easy for me.

4684411 That is truth my friend, for learning is good, and learning through fun more so, at least that is what I hope.

Writing songs is not my thing.
Since if you heard me you'd know I can't sing!
But, still as for rhyming, I find it quite fun.
Especially a long one, when it's all said and done.
And when it's done well, as in a good sonnet
it makes me quite happy when I put my name on it!
Now, ad infinitum, I could happily go on
but that would get boring and that's surely no fun! :rainbowlaugh:

4684439

That's a good attitude, I like that a lot.
Learning's fun when it's fun except when it's not.
and when it is not then what can I say?
We can just seek to find a better way.
And when we do, oh joy Hey! Hey!
Enough of this rhyming is all I can say.
Let's just clear the floor, get down and PAR-TAY!

(Yeah, I know... that last wasn't right.
Still, just the same, I think it's a sight.)

4684546

Much to my great joy and delight Zecora Day's already tight
This is as good as a day in the sun! It's nice to see so many having fun!

4684573

Yeah, this little event's been so much fun! I've love to see more threads just like this one!

(Oh, man! I did that last comment quite accidentally! It just came out! Time for me to break out of rhyming mode, my friend! :rainbowlaugh: )

4684374

Thou silly little fool! Has no one told you rhyming is not cool? :trollestia:

4684675
The Doctor? Alas! With his fez I cannot compete!

My slander is naught before his mightiest feat!

I yield, good sir, to your rhymes I doth surrender!

I shall spew forth rhymes both crude and tender!

4684692
Harumph! No need to flaunt your victory.

Yet I suppose throughout the day I shall now rhyme with thee!

4684399

I so much like that character, she's both intriguing and fun.
but so little of her I have seen, so much more with her needs to be done!
Now, the Mane Six are fine, with them I have no complaint.
But such a lack of Zecora is a distasteful taint!
And the background ponies are all lovely and nice.
But an episode with just Zecora; I'd watch it twice!
Thee times! Four, maybe far more than that!
When it comes to Zebras we all know Zecora's where it's at!

4684712

AAH! FORSOOTH! WHAT A POWERFUL, MIGHTY SHOUT!

LIKE YELLING FUS ROH DAH THOU HAS PUSHED ME BACK AND ABOUT!

4684742

Ah ha! Victory! I have slain the mighty beast!

Now let us gather 'round and have a mighty feast!

Mead and meat and song shall we enjoy this night

And like the gods in Valhalla, shall finish with a friendly fight!

4684766

Very well, but on one condition, my friend

You must join us in drinking and the breaking of bread!

Let us sing songs of heroes and the tales of the gods

And let us get so drunk we awake from our sleeping among the dogs!

4684374 I say, how about no?
Because if I did that, I'd surely sound like a schmo.

You fail.

The punishment: HAIL!

4684374
If one writes a horrible tale, using rhymes might make it fail.
With bloody tooth and nail, a scary story may not prevail.
Even if the dripping blood leaves a trail, readers might find it
incongruous and will bail.
We tried to suspend our belief but these awful rhymes make us say good grief!

Even Stephen King and Deane Koontz do agree, most of their work is rhyme free!
So as you see Sam I am, using rhymes in my stories, I don't give a darn!

4684943 Nah, if I tried to do that that I might turn purple
And then run and hide in the... um... GOD DAMMIT :twilightangry2:

-Kirb.

Tis a glorious day to rhyme like no end!
Let us all celebrate with a mouthful of cake! :pinkiehappy:
Truth be told, one did not expect this to unfold like so, but alas it has been done so truthfully!
My rhyming needs training, that much is true, but do not fret, for it will come true!
Too much rhyming throughout this thread, it makes me laugh with no end in sight! :rainbowlaugh:

Did I do it right? I really need to train myself in rhyming, so should I write Zecora in action, it will come forth!

4684394

Zecora was challenged to rhyme the word orange.
Her response was to make a soup out of sporange.
To the Crystal Empire she went with silver
To the petting zoo with sheep and chilver
Her friend Twilight has a coat of purple
And a star pattern fixed upon her curple.
She watched some hockey, the Pack of the Wolf
Formerly coached by a fella named Ulf

I think I should stop before these get worse...

It's rhyme like a pirate day?
Arrr, mateys, anchors aweigh!

We be searching the seas for our Cutie Marks!
(Hope we don't run into any sharks!)
