Okay, so forgive me if I sound pretentious or pedantic, but a key issue I have with most drama fics on Fimfiction has to do with how the characters feel like vessels for the author to say whatever they want to say without further exploring their intentions or motivations and to reiterate this theme that feels hollow because it offers no solution. What I love about your work is every character clearly has their own stream of consciousness going on while the story around them is written to reflect how they behave. My question for you is: How much of yourself do you put into your writing? Are you more interested in writing about yourself or putting the characters in a scenario where they have an opportunity to reflect? Is it a mixture of both?

Your interpretation of the Student 6 is both exactly in character and wildly different from canon at the same time. What's your approach to writing them and how can I steal it?

What is your favorite genre to write? To read?

It's a late night. A Thursday. You've just settled down for the evening, a fine glass of merlot in your hand. Or another refreshing beverage, if you don't enjoy alcohol. The gentle sound of rain pitter-pattering on the window soothes you into a relaxing near-slumber, a blanket carefully draped over your frame and adding to the coziness. Suddenly, your door is kicked down, and an angry orange dragon bursts into the room.

"Where is she?" the dragon demands. "I'll tear this house apart!"

Your eyebrows raise, your merlot--or merlot replacement--spills onto the couch. That'll be a fun stain to work out, but that's something that'll have to wait. You try to respond, but the fury of the dragon catches your words in your throat. Just then, a bit of movement on your blanket catches your eye. You glance down, noticing a pair of aquamarine eyes opening from the top of the blanket.

"Don't tell her," the blanket whispers, just loud enough for only you to hear. "If I can hide for five more minutes, she has to wear the collar tonight."
