Pony Acedemia was created in an effort to store and organize all texts produced as fanfiction for My Little Pony that meet the requirements of an academic text. Surprisingly, the set of texts that fits these requirements is not empty.
If you would like to submit your own fanfiction, please make sure it either has the application of techniques related to academia such as science or engineering, or that it includes descussion of theory related to academia. If you think your story fits, please submit it to the incoming folder. Otherwise, the admins will search for and add fics that seem academic enough.

381448 All groups of Fimfiction are competing with each other for the spot in New Groups. However, only the freshest of the freshest get to be listed.
The evaluation of the groups is held every week, but only new groups get to be featured. No Group of Old has a place in the Hub of Groups of New. Only new groups are considered as gems. Among thousands of groups of Fimfiction, only about a hundred of them are born within one week time. Those are the gems that get listed. Their freshness alone is sufficient for them to beat any Group of Old and earn a spot in the Groups of New.

Are you just posting every new group every week? Or are there actually so many new groups that you have to cull through hundreds to get a few gems?

I still haven't gotten around to finishing things up and advertising this group with all the work I have to do irl. I don't actually consider this group, well, released yet.
Still, thanks for the encouragement. When I do have time to finish things up here, I'll make sure to take into account your reasons for featuring this group. What were those reasons by the way? I can't seem to find anythong in New Groups about this group being featured.
