This is a place to post analyses of show episodes, or of stories--any stories, not just MLP. Any kind of analysis that helps writers understand how stories work or how they're written is welcome.

There are 3 ways to post!

1. For analysis of a show episode, post a comment to the "Episodes" thread, with a link to a blog, YouTube video, etc., with a short explanation of what it is & why it's interesting. You can post multiple links within a single comment if you post them at the same time.

Others should post their responses on that blog, not in the "Episodes" thread here!

2. For analysis of a ponyfic, post a comment to the "Ponyfics" thread, same style as for Episodes.

3. For analysis of a non-pony story that you think is either great or overrated, and you want to show why, create a thread for your analysis. Either post an explanation and link, as above, or write the whole thing here in the thread's first entry. Don't analyse "The Eye of Argon" unless you think you can say something writers will find useful. Your analysis and annotation together should be at least 1,000 words. That's not a strict requirement, but don't post 500 words of "Game of Thrones is awesome because of these cool things Tyrion Lannister says."
