Howdy, y'all!

My fancy-schmancy new job's been keeping me busy, but I have been making progress on version 4! I'm at a point where I can release an alpha version of the Firefox version of the extender. There will probably be bugs and there are guaranteed missing features, however it should allow you to try it out and use some emotes today!

Since I'm developing browser add-ons instead of a userscript, this is only Firefox compatible for now. Once this version is feature complete and stable I'll create the Chrome version (which should be able to re-use most of the code).

There's an icon that'll be in your menu (it's the same Rainbow Dash one as is in the add on menu). Click on that to open the main interface. The emotes should be automatically injected into comment boxes throughout the site and accessed just like the default FIMFiction emotes.

Hey you banana you. Need some help installing this. I keep getting a connection error to github (fixed VIA opening it new tab and refreshing), and then the secondary host s3.amazonaws.com. Mind providing a secondary download from say Mediafire or such? Or mayhaps a different install method?

Would be much appreciated.

It's appreciated, but I mostly just posted this because it was in minimally working order and it's been a long time since I've had working emotes. I've got a huge list already of things that are missing or not working right.

When the beta comes around, that's when I'll need bug reports since I'll have done most/all of the bug fixing for everything I've found.

Yeah, they are. Firefox has removed the ability to self-publish extensions (and have disabled all such extensions automatically). I'm not sure what to do about this, honestly. They've made developing extensions a pain, too. :(

Huh. Now they're broken for me, too. Weird. Looks like imgur itself is blocking them. I'm getting a 403 "Forbidden" response when FIMFiction is the referrer for any image—not just for ponymotes.

Sorry to here the extension process is such a pain now. However it turns out though, thanks for all you do around the emotes! :)
