You may know that I use FimFiction to improve my craft and to try out new techniques. I also write SF. The new story is all about that. It places Twilight and her friends in danger, forcing her to deal with an invasion from another dimension. This is an alien first-contact novella written from a PPOV (pony point-of-view). I also wanted to practice cliffhangers. Every chapter is one, so please enjoy and don't shoot the messenger writer.

The story is completely written (and being proofed). In a departure from my usual every-Tuesday schedule, I'm going to publish every day to the best of my ability. Since the chapters are going to be generally short episode that end with a cliffhanger, I think the schedule is called for.

Last, while there is an ending, it will be an open-ended ending. Much more could be written with the cast of characters. However, if it should catch fire, I am planning on opening up the universe I've built to other writers. While what I've written I've tried to keep in canon, at least to the yet to be viewed series finale, I'll allow AU continuances. I will publish worldbuilding details, the cast of characters. what is allowed for them, and detailed their agendas. It could be fun. Depends on how the story is received.
