What is your headcanon about the Sonic Rainboom? Has anyone read or written any stories that expand on the legend? (and before you ask, no, I'm not looking for stories where Rainbow Dash goes back in time and does the first Sonic Rainboom)

When pegasi fly, they often make those various contrails, right? Obviously manifest by their magic. When you go over the sound barrier, that colours the sonic boom you get. And when you get a pegasus with a rainbow contrail who's that fast...

I wrote a story in which another pony (not just the Mane 6) is also inspired by the Sonic Rainboom to change her life. It was kind of controversial.
