Hello! I was recently reading a fic where anon, as a kid, was adopted by Celestia and they were working around a language barrier, which reminded me of one of my loves: confusion around language barriers!!

Does anyone know of some fics where the characters have to contend, and hopefully overcome, such language barriers?

Well, I do have a language barrier in a Daring Do and Donkey Kong crossover, but that isn't the main focus of the story. They speak in chants, but there's a few segments where they use gestures that can be a bit vague for Daring to understand.
