With a new chapter of Midnight Rising and the first M-rated entry of Feathered Hearts - Continuation and Chronicles done—and I'm pretty sure the former influenced the latter given the ending scene I wrote for C&C!—my erotic writing efforts of October continue with a second Midnight Rising chapter.

I hope readers will be happy to know that it's turning out even wilder than the first. It's already at 8400 words and growing, probably heading north of 12,000 before all is said and done. I suppose I could even call it Enter the Dragons given they just arrived on scene, if it wasn't for the fact we already featured the dragons before with Rarity and Pinkie Pie. And never mind the possible copyright violation that name would entail.

At this point, it seems likely this griffon arc will require a third chapter for the final and most insane part, which is the arrival of adult dragons and which allows for a whole new set of fetishes to be explored. Its conclusion will be the point that Middie finally turns her attention on the final and most egregious offender of her Crystal Prep schoolmates—Lemon Zest.

You can expect the new chapter to contain a ton of crazy clop with the main theme being the Kingdom’s corruption, and witness the culmination of Midnight's plan to rekindle the old Nightmare Moon hex that binds them to dragons (without its more deleterious effects) and release the full sexual potential of the griffons. This means what happens inside the Hall of Heroes (or excuse me, now the Palace of Passion), will shortly be extended outside of it, and not even the Kingdom's ruler, Queen Molyneux, will be immune.

What can I say? I really like the griffies, whether I'm writing a war epic or wild sex story about them. Or at least, the version of them I came up with for Firefly and Feathered Hearts, with both of them having their origin in the Gentlemanverse courtesy of the great and sorely missed Demon Eyes Laharl's lore. I'm not *particularly* keen on the show version of them, for reasons I'm sure you can guess.

As for when it will be published, this new chapter should be draft complete by the weekend, at which point the release date is dependent on getting prereader and editing passes completed. Most likely early next week, then. After that? Well, there are two things I want to do. I promised a new Nightmare Night chapter by Halloween, but I also want to work on updating earlier chapters of Feathered Hearts - Continuation and Chronicles with some expanded scenes to reflect its new M-rating. I'll probably work on both, shifting between them when I need a break from one.
