I know you’re all anxious for a new chapter of Eros, but I regret to report it won’t happen this month, which is given over to writing for my Unleash the Magic series. I do pledge to have one out before the year’s end, but in the meantime, there might be something to tide you over.
The latest chapter of Unleash the Magic - Midnight Rising that will be out late this weekend features the griffons and can best be described as an even crazier version of Eros. It even features our favorite birdie boi Fortrakt in a starring role, if a bit younger than he is in Feathered Hearts. He’s still very much himself, though—honest, earnest and endearing. To say nothing of possessing all his various proclivities you know and love.

If you haven’t read it before, Midnight Rising is based on the end of Equestria Girls: The Friendship Games movie, when the human Twilight accidentally ascends to become basically a dark alicorn goddess named Midnight Sparkle, ripping open rifts in reality to Equestria. In other words, this climactic sequence at the end:
That scene is expanded in Midnight Rising so that with all her inhibitions suddenly stripped and having more power than she knows what to do with, Midnight Sparkle decided to take very sensual revenge on her Crystal Prep schoolmates that abused her, and from there begins exploring the sensuality of other Tellusian races she sees through the rifts she creates.
It’s told through the eyes of Sunset Shimmer, and needless to say, it’s very M-rated and heavy fetish material, building as it goes. And in the latest chapter, Midnight discovers the griffons. So while you’re waiting for more Eros, I invite you to check out the story or at least the upcoming chapter. If you like what’s in Eros, you should love what’s there. Be looking for it no later than Sunday.
