Here's an absolutely adorable tutorial on how to hug your pony from doubleWbrothers.
With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.

Anyway the best part of the episode is the flying snail bit.
At least we know Nightmare Night is still around, even after all that generations, and Sunny really do have the best costume, it's a Nightmare Moon costume, she's pretty creative and Opaline really needs a new hobby and when Misty tried to be evil, she is cute while doing it.
This is actually a first time ever that they actually have a 30 minute episode of tell your tail it's actually nice and yeah perfect timing for Halloween as well

I swore the moment I clicked it would be 30 minutes long but I wasn't surprised it was compilation.
I get the feeling Opaline will be nothing but "dragon fire blah blah magic blah" in Tell Your Tale. The series is good for some light character development here and there, but I don't see it ever advancing plot. And I swear, how many times have I heard her say something to the effect of "I want to see how their magic works so I can take it from them."? For someone who is suggested to have been around since the height of Twilight's reign, she seems to know vanishingly little about pony magic.
Yeah, Sunny's Nightmare Moon costume was a nice homage. And Jazz came out as... G3 Rainbow Dash?
Izzy went full "Cupcakes" on us with her costume.

My best guess is that Opaline was actually saying was “I want to know more about how magic has evolved.”. It’s not that she knows little about magic, it’s just that she wasn’t able to see its evolution. If she takes the magic without knowing how much it’s evolved, she’ll probably be easily defeated via inexperience because it wasn’t as it is now when she first tried taking it, thus she wants to understand how much it has evolved so that she can better grasp at its capabilities, or else inexperience would be her undoing.
