I got to wondering:

Which mare (or griffon, or filly, or hippogriff, or...) gets the most non-consensual lewding?

First, let me state my hypothesis I held going into this data deep dive:

One- or two-shot villains, like Suri Palomare and Lightning Dust, will have the most non-con fics, followed by recurring villains like Cozy Glow, Diamond Tiara, and Starlight Glimmer.

Obviously the search box is a poor tool for answering this question.

There are roughly 1900 fics tagged [Non-con] (non-consensual), and roughly 1600-ish also tagged [Mature+Sex]. I'm not reading 1900 fics, most of which are probably going to be poorly written. (For every brilliant Let's Not Quibble, there will be fifty unreadably bad fics.) Also, the [Porn] tag is useless for statistics, since it was introduced years after the website was created, so most old fics that deserve that tag don't have it.

So I took [Mature+Sex] tag as a surrogate for [Porn]. This obviously casts too wide a net; something grimdark that doesn't have actual sex scenes might get captured by this search. I then used [Mature+Sex+non-con] to see how many non-consensual fics the given mare had.

Importantly, this doesn't mean the mare is actually getting raped; she could be in a different chapter, she could be the perpetrator, etc.

Regardless, this is the best we can do with the search box. The data is below.

Rows in bold have 10% or greater [mature+sex] stories also [non-con].
Rows in desaturated have 10 or fewer [mature+sex] stories and therefore should be discarded from discussion due to poor statistics
Rows in red have no non-con stories. (You know what to do.)

(N.B.: the "%[Non-con]" column is percent of [Mature+sex], not the %total stories.)

For once, my hypothesis wasn't bad. Cozy Glow, Starlight Glimmer, Lightning Dust, Tempest Shadow, Suri Palomare—all villains at their introduction—have solidly 10% or above noncon. In fact, Gollyhorse has 25%, with a good denominator (40). This leads to the conclusion that fimfic likes punishing villains.

There are some surprising results, too. Lily Valley—flower pony—gets tagged 3/12 (25%) of her mature+sex as non-con. Looking at the long descriptions, I think this is a case of false positives, however. Sugar Belle also gets a high rate (7/42, 16.7%), but at least two of her non-con tagged fics are magically dubious consent I wrote, not true non-con.

Mayor Mare also clocks in at 12.5% with a strong denominator. Either writers like disrespecting authority figures, or she was responsible for some unorthodox governance.

And 13.2% non-con for Flurry Heart? Stay classy, Fimfic. I'm surprised Diamond Tiara only clocked in at 7.5%, with a huge denominator (292). Presumably her reform was long enough ago, and her disappearance from the show after her reform, and the appearance of Cozy Glow as the new most-hated filly, has shielded Diamond.

As far as non-ponies go, Ember, Smolder, and Gabby all broke 10% with good denominators. I can't explain that. (Gilda, strangely, did not break 10% — I would have expected more punishment fics, given how much of a cunt she was in her Season 1 episode.)

As a group, the G5 ponies (Sunny, Izzy, Pipp, Zipp, Haven, Phyllis) have the highest group average at 15.6%, although that's affected by Phyllis and Haven having very small denominators. Pipp gets the highest noncon percentage of the main cast, though.

IIRC, the non-con tag has not always existed, which may explain why newer characters have higher non-con rates.
