Whilst I've been generally happy with the way things are going with Mind Over Midnight, I mentioned in the last chapter some struggles in moving things forward. Cohesion and better planning are necessary, as such I've been taking my loose notes from here/there/everywhere and getting them all into a unified whole. First up was a better character account for Calmy Storm, ironing out most of the loose ends he has. Though I can't profess my first serious OC will actually be 'good', I hope he is seen as a distinctive entity and not just a blank shell. Also in character from chapter-to-chapter as bizarre as that sounds. Next is a more solid story structure, three acts, the whole shebang. I've an ending in mind but it's getting there, the journey is more important after all.
Finally, I have the beginnings of a plan for an Aria Blaze spin-off. Probably not a multi-chapter story, just something fleshing a few bits out and character work.
