Boy was I gone for too long! (Please read for important matters may require your voting.) · 9:45am Jul 15th, 2022
Hello all my faithful followers. I seem to find myself make more and more apologizes to you all. The lack of content is my own fault I'm afraid to say.
Not too long ago I was on a cruise to hopefully free my mind, and while I did gain some peace of mind, I wasn't able to write during those 5 days out on the ocean.
To make matters worse, when I had finally gotten back home I wanted nothing more to start writing again. However due to my Microsoft account having expired, I wasn't able to add on to my stories. Many of you would argue I could have used docs but it doesn't have the same feeling.
So I had to wait till I could afford to splurge on it.
But have no fear, for another chapter of the dragon series will be on it's way!
I'll try and make it a little longer this time if I can. But I find leaving you guys on cliffhangers oh so deviously fun Mwahahah!!
But onto more important matters.
First chapters
Now as you have all noticed, I've made the last couple of dragon chapter short. This was intentional.
1 It gave you guys something to read, on a story you all really enjoy.
2 It allows me to cut off at moments leaving you all in suspense, making you egger for the next part.
3 By doing it this way, I can produce more content in almost bite size proportions.
So now I'd like to know your thoughts on the matter?
Do you guys enjoy smaller more frequent chapters
Or would you rather wait for longer chapters?
But really though, I'm being honest.

Agreed
I don't mind short chapters. I like both actually. Long chapters can be for heavy story telling and short chapters can be for relaxing and chilling til the heavy stuff comes in. But either way. It's all good

I shall keep these in mind.
i will only allow for longer chapters
Small. I hate cliffhangers and long ones mean that more likely.

I'm in the same boat as those guys, especially that Fluffy-Boi. Small chapters for quick lighthearted stuff, like... I don't know, Johann (don't know how to spell his name) playing hide and seek with the Crusaders or something. While the big 4k+ chapters can deal with all the heavy story junk, like a character dying in a blaze of glory or what have you.
Obviously, you can do whatever you want, but does that sound reasonable to you?

Agreed.
I pref chapters around 2,5 - 4k Words, like so many other writers are doing.
I got kinda used to it.
I personally prefer medium/long chapter (4000+ words) because I'm a fast reader when I'm commited to it (and thus short chapters are too fast) and I fell it allow for the ambiance to better set in, but shorter chapters are totally fine. And I do agree it's faster to make, basics maths there
