Surgery +6 days and writing update · 8:06pm May 19th, 2022

Well, I’m slowly getting better, though I still tire easily, remaining quite congested and not allowed to blow my nose. As a matter of fact, as soon as I post this blog, I believe I’m going to attempt taking a nap. At least I’ve made this week off more or less productive, taking care of chores and getting some promised writing done.

On that note, the next Harmonic Resonance chapter should go live this weekend. Next up for sexual transformation and ascension to Daydream status is Gilda’s favorite girl, and I admit that her source of power—and thus her means of transformation—gave me some trouble. But I finally came up with something suitably awesome for her, and even shoehorned in a Feathered Hearts reference at the very end, giving the (human) Gilda a quick but notable cameo. For those who happen to read both stories, you’ll also get a couple clues of future events in Feathered Hearts - Continuation & Chronicles.

I need to get feedback from the commissioner first, and then make any desired changes or additions based on what they say. Once that’s done, the chapter will go live, most likely on Saturday morning or evening. Past that, I saw the first fireflies of the season while walking outside just a couple nights ago, so that means it’s time to work on Firefly again. I’ll be picking up the discarded quill of the departed and greatly missed Denim_Blue for this one, trying to write the second part of his Changeling chapter involving the assault on their hive. Unfortunately, I’ve also recently realized that I’m going to have retcon the earlier changeling chapters. The reason is that it turns out I introduced a time discrepancy in the last chapter by bringing in Lycovenato before he actually arrived by the established timeline. But don’t worry, I’ll figure it out. And have it ready by the time the new chapter launches. I’ll aim to do so at month’s end.
