BABS Last Call (and DaD update)

Heya, folks!

Apologies for the DaD tag since that isn't really the main purpose of this blog, but I needed to cast a wider net than just my normal followers, so I will give an update after the break.

Anyway, I'm lifting off for BABS in just short of 12 hours. I've already planned at least one meetup, but I'd be very happy to meet with other peeps out there. If any of you are going and want to meet up with me, you're most likely to get a message to me over Discord— 2ndHrtdHer0#6688.

So, since I did tag the story, DaD update time: I've gotten a couple "When is the next chapter coming out" comments both on the story and in my PMs, so let me just say that yes, the story is still in the works. Very, very slowly. I've said it a few times, but for anyone that's brand new to the story and may not have seen my more recent posts (there was at least one new shelf addition since my last one), I'm in the middle of writing a prequel, and it will be quoted directly in the next chapter of DaD (spoilers, if I haven't said it previously), so I want to publish it before I keep updating the main story (since I haven't written the part that's going to be quoted yet). I'm having some annoying writer's block on that, so I've tried going back to my next DaD chapters, and while I have quite a few essentially finished, they aren't all chronological, and of course I'm having some block with the chapters in between.

Just so I'm not beating around the bush, the TL;DR of it is that yes, I'm still working on the story, it's just really slow-going (I know, over a year and a half since the last update is more like molasses-going). When I'm finally finished with the prequel, it's going to be multi-chapter as well, but I'll be updating it daily instead of weekly. I feel like it's the least you all deserve for your patience. Thanks for stickin' with me for so long.
