I was talking with some friends about how Equestria Daily used to have users email in their fanfic, way back at the start of the fandom, and if Sethisto liked it enough he would feature it! I have no clue how it works now, but I have to assume that fanfic is more of a 'don't call us, we'll call you' situation. Out of curiosity, I decided to google my SN + Equestria Daily, and came up with this result! 'The Kidnapping of Twilight Velvet' was chosen for their '20 Of The Best Fanfics to Read For Chrysalis Day' entry back in 2021! https://www.equestriadaily.com/2021/06/20-of-best-fanfics-to-read-for.html
It makes some sense; I had a lot of commenters asking if I was going to write more about Twilight Velvet and Chrysalis' burgeoning friendship, it won the Fluttershy prize in the Everfree Northwest writing competition, and it reached over 6,250 views, which is almost double my next most popular story! So if I had to have a story be picked, it makes sense it would be that one! Still, I never thought I'd get featured like that, what an awesome accomplishment!

Yeah, it's a guy who sometimes posts in the comments section who makes requests, and he has a Fimfiction account. I don't remember who it is, though. You could probably mail EQD to find out.
