    The Arrowverse

To all you DC Comics fans out there, I’m sure you at least heard of the Arrowverse, a superhero media franchise that began with “Arrow” (starring Oliver Queen / the Green Arrow), before including “The Flash “, “Supergirl”, and more. I think it was a great and compelling journey alongside these heroes and their struggles not only against the villains but also the juggling of their lives, their

    Question regarding Horcruxes

JK Rowling imagined a vile concept for Voldemort, the main antagonist of her series, Harry Potter, as a means for him to achieve what he believed to be immortality due to his pathological fear of death - The Horcrux.

    Question

I have a question, and I would like to say, I ask this for clarification and intend no offense whatsoever.

In regards to the Singular They, which is typically used by people who identify as Non-Binary or otherwise, what word is acceptable in a sentence regarding an individual who goes by the Singular They?

'They are enjoying themselves' or 'They are enjoying themself'?

    A Weird Thing just happened...

Okay, so I'm on my computer, reading, when I hear a loud "POP/BOOM" sound in my house. I go to check it out... and I find out my two-liter of Cola just exploded in my pantry cupboard!

    I have no idea why!

I recently bought it, it wasn't shook, it was at room temp, I cannot, for the life of me, understand why this bottle of pop just popped!

Cute-Marks... on Non-Ponies? · 7:05pm Mar 13th, 2022

Hello, fellow Bronies

So, here's a question I'm sure some of us have asked at one point: Can a non-pony get a cutie-mark?

Apparently not, as we've seen in the episode that debuted Gabby the griffon, who approached the Cutie-Mark Crusaders in the hopes that she, a griffon, could get a cutie-mark of her own. While she showed competence and skills in a variety of things, she didn't get a mark until finally they accepted that non-ponies can't get a cutie-mark after all. But after thinking it over, the CMC realized, Gabby's talent is helping others, so they made her an honorary Crusader and even designed a mark for her, representing her membership and her talent.

But that still begs the question: Could a non-pony actually get a cutie-mark? Has anyone ever done a fic where a non-pony character earned their own mark? If so, I'd like to check them out, if you'd be so kind as to point me to them.

From what we know regarding cutie-marks, they are magical symbols that express a pony's talent, a facet of their being, or perhaps even a greater destiny they're meant to undertake. Some are simple, some are personal, and some are of greater depth and meaning that what they represent isn't apparent at first.

When Tirek began stealing magic, his victims' cutie-marks vanished as a result, further proving cutie-marks are a form of magic that comes from the pony him or herself, and without their magic they lose their mark and presumably the talents or anything else that goes with it.

Starlight found or perhaps invented a spell that allows her to remove cutie-marks, and either replace them with an artificial one that can influence them based on what the mark is or she can switch marks between others, as she did with the Royal Sisters.

And let's not forget Star Swirls' incomplete spell, how it affected the other members of the Mane Six, switching their marks around and even changing their memories.

One thing I really wish the show had addressed before it ended, I wish we could have learned of the origin of Cutie-Marks! Who got the first one, what it represented, how it was accomplished, and anything else that could have enlightened us to cutie-marks than what we apparently know or have theorized.

So... if anyone out there knows of or has written a fic where a non-pony somehow got a mark, I would be thankful if you pointed me to it.

Maybe a Kirin or Hippogriff could since their half pony.

Fair enough, but I mean non-pony creatures. As in creatures unrelated to ponies

Hmm....that'll be tough to say.

Honestly? I don’t think they could. cutie-marks seem to be such a pony thing that it may be impossible for non ponies to get them. now replication of one like a changeling does very possible. but actually getting on on their own? I don’t see that happening.
