Goodbye Old Friend

Hey folks,

Been a while...so I heard recently that a famous writer and friend of mine on Fimfiction, DarthLink22...passed away recently...

We've been working on Longing and other stories together for a while now...

He was one of the first friends I made on Fimfiction and one of my first collab partners.

I will always miss him and his writing, as for other Longingverse stories...I need to find my drive again for them, since I haven't had the drive in a while with things happening in RL and Online...but I will keep you all posted in the coming months...

Goodbye old friend, I will miss you...We all will...

I recently learned of his passing as well. It really was a tragedy. Darth Link 22 meant a lot to me since he was the first author I found on this site years ago, but I know that was nothing compared to the friendship you had with him. I hope you will be okay.

Man, I can't believe I just found out about this (via Tropes). I've really enjoyed Aftermath of the Games and Integration, and while I'm sad to discover that Integration won't be completed it's nothing compared to the sadness behind the reason. At least there's a bit of comfort in the fact that DarthLink22 hinted during at least Integration that the story was going to get a happy ending (Twilight adopts Starlight and the human world and Equestria become allies) no matter what.
