"Late-Night Conversations" Epilogue Now Published + Sequel on the Way!

Surprise! My first fic, the Sunset/Rarity hurt-comfort story "Late-Night Conversations" now has an epilogue chapter! Even better, it's building up to a sequel story, which is now in the works; I'm hoping to publish in mid-to-late February.

For the probably one of you who remembers, yes, this marks some changes from what I'd originally intended this story to be. I wrote the original three chapters of LNC as an excerpt of a larger story idea I had planned. However, my idea for that story has radically changed since then, and I still have no idea whether that story will ever be written. So I've decided to take the two elements of that original version I've been most itching to write and convert them into standalone pieces. The first of these is my story of potential confrontation/reconciliation between Sunset and Wallflower Blush, a story that started with "Late Night Conversations" and will continue with its immediate sequel, tentatively named "Why Can't I Just Forgive You?"

The LNC epilogue, which also contains some connective tissue to "Sunset and Twilight's Winter Holidate" (namely, alluding to the start of Sunset and Twilight becoming a couple, which "Holidate" mentioned to be happening around this point in time), was originally conceived as the prologue of the sequel story. However, I decided it made more sense as an epilogue, both so the sequel could function better as a standalone story (more tightly focused on Sunset and Wallflower) and and so I could expand on the scene I had originally planned.

Hope all of you enjoy! Bring tissues. I didn't go into this intending to escalate the sad stuff from the original chapters, but I ended up doing just that (to the point I added the "Sad" tag to the story).

A lot of the Sunset-Wallflower fic takes place at the yearbook club, so you can expect a healthy smattering of "Summer of 4 Ft. 2" references ("The leatheroleum covers were worth the extra money! You can smell the benzene!").
