So, I wanged my hand at work and it made long periods of typing painful. Which got me reading more, and I decided I want to start commenting again about some of the things I read on this site. Especially in light of the closing of some of the more well-known reading groups.
One story I'd like to point out for your consideration is Rekindled Embers by applezombi.
The story takes place in an Equestria over a thousand years in the future where The Holy Equestrian Diarchy is ruled by a bigoted and brutal theocracy that no longer contains any alicorns or even any signs of any alicorns. Unicorns are hated and feared and the story follows the saga on Emberglow, a young pegasus mare who more than anything wants to join a chapter of the elite Knights, who are dedicated to the teachings of the Holy Saints that are worshipped by the religion of the state.
We follow her trials and struggles as she rises up, only to discover some of the truths behind what she had always assumed to be holy truth.
The story contains some of the best world building I have ever seen, with different parts meshing into a coherent and fascinating whole. Well worth the read and I highly recommend it.
Second thing...
My story, Slaves to Darkness is finally winding to a close and I'm considering new projects to fill in the gap. Are there any of my stories that any of you would want to see me revisit or otherwise do a sequel to. I've got lots of ideas myself, but it's always good to hear from the community.

Heh, that's an ongoing project. It still amazes me how what was going to be just a simple fetish romp turned into such a serious story simply by asking, "What if?" and then exploring the natural consequences of actions.

Well, I had intended that as a joke, but now my stupid brain is trying to come up with ways to actually combine all three in one.
Like James makes a delivery to the girls farm, who decided they would all like a "special delivery". James gets pony napped, only to be rescued as the living tail plugs that were hiding in his mail bags break free and help themselves to the mares...
