That's a good chance of actually happening to them. As much as they have great potential as future adventurers like their gruncles, what they experienced so young is bound to affect them. It's been a while since I read some good Gravity Fall fanfiction, maybe I could treat myself to some older Pines siblings stories...

Not yet, but stuff like this is really making me think it'd be a fun endeavor (Soos HAS made a rather surprising cameo in The Deatroyer and Her Doctor, though).

I'm just thinking all the shit the mane 6 went through. The Dragon, Changling Invasion, Tirek, to name a few. What kind of PTSD they should have after all those events. It might have been less obvious as in GF, but those all could have been life or death situations for them.

Twilight's encounter with the hydra in season one would be one of those good candidates for causing real PTSD. Getting chased back and forth to the edge of the cliff, knowing she can't make the jump, jumping anyway because one of the hydra heads just smashed through the rock, and watching herself falling to her death only to be saved by a complete fluke. Going outside your tree is dangerous.
