Your heart's in the right place and it's admirable what you're trying to do, but I wouldn't support PETA. They're known to euthanize hundreds of animals they rescue. Their shelter in Virginia is most notable for doing so, bunch of hypocrites really.

Supposedly they are but they've been known to euthanize a lot of animals that people could've adopted and cared for in their facilities. Then there's that part where they actually did kidnap a families pet and killed it, which I didn't even know about.
