Story review #14: Apple Bond Motherhood —By Lonely Fanboy48
Character’s:
Applebloom: Cute and mostly in character
Pear butter: She is a hard character to judge since the story is about her interacting with Applebloom and we’ve never seen her interact with kids before especially her own. But I like the direction Lonely Fanboy48 took her in for the context of the story.
All the other characters: They are all fairly in character and seem to be really enjoyable but since they are hardly in the story….
…..not much to go off of!
Premise: it’s a very short and straight to the point plot Pear Butter and Bright Macintosh return after years and want to bond with their children. But Pear Butter realizes how much she has been neglecting her youngest Applebloom and decides to spend the day with her. (Fluff)
Punctuation and Grammar: The author has requested I don’t worry about Reviewing this part of the story. I do usually cover this!
Dialogue: Bit blocky but it works.
Story moments and feels: (Requested by author.)
The moments are adorable but they all happen and pass us by that the story feels lacking especially in the chemistry that obviously the author wanted to have but didn’t.
Flaws: Too short! If it had been a little longer and some of the scenes extended it would’ve worked better for the premise and the chemistry of the characters.
Strengths: One word: W H O L E S O M E ! ! !
This story is pure wholesomeness and I’m here for it.
But as always those are just my 2 cents and I recommend you check out the story yourself and form you’re own opinion. It’s really cute so you really should go check it out!
