Story review #13: Kiss Me —by applejackofalltrades

Character’s:

Applejack: She is a lesbian but still has her in show personality and quirks.
On top of that she is crushing on Twilight so hard the whole story they her panic made me panic.
But overall despite the semi-oblivious lesbian change (that was necessary for the story) she was really in character so all good their.

Twilight: perfectly in character for herself she is a blushing, nervous, mess when in love and that’s who she is in the story.
In all aspects of her character she seems to be very show accurate.

Premise: 2 very in love gay ponies (Twilight and Applejack) hangout on the apple farm unsure whether or not the other feels the same or will reciprocate their feelings if they make a move.
It’s the classic will they won’t they.
Spoiler alert: A few bottles of liquid courage and one slow dance later they do!

Grammar and Punctuation: As always applejackofalltrades doesn’t fail to disappoint the grammar and punctuation are the best of any story I’ve reviewed. Their could be a few errors but I missed them if they we’re their.

Dialogue: Fluff and background to the stuff in the show mostly. But that’s fine the story itself and the atmosphere make up for the light amount of dialogue.

Flaws: TwiJack!!! (Joking write or ship anything you want so long as it’s legal or you age up or down to make it legal!) the real flaw is the talking about the past and how when Applejack does sometimes the story lags and takes a paragraph to pick back up again.

Strengths: this story is top tier Fluff and top tier writing for a romance story.
It also somehow takes the cheesy romance tropes and flips them into a story that can make me go ahhhhhh 😍

But as always those are just my 2 cents and I recommend you check out the story yourself and form you’re own opinion. It’s really cute so you really should go check it out!

Rating: 8/10 Smug Applejack’s cause she got the girl.
