Ridiculous Writers Block · 7:58pm Dec 23rd, 2021
So I've been gone a while. Haven't written anything in a while longer. Got tonnes of ideas. Always do. Only issue is writing them. Told myself I'd take a break. Come back to it in a week. Then two went by. Then four. Now I'm looking at five months without having so much as opened a new chapter. Haven't written a sentence. Every time I try working on projects, it all just goes down the drain. Feels like it's gone and it's not coming back. Not really sure what to do anymore. Can't even manage sloppy, thrown together vent writing like I used to. Think I might be at the end of my road as an author. Got more cancelled works than I do finished ones now. None too happy about that.
Why not try writing down useless rambling? Write down all the stupid thoughts in your head as they come
Go back to the source.
Re-watch the episodes.
That wellspring of joy and imaginative inspiration powers your motivation.
hellfiredovah is right once you have an idea just jot it down you don't have to add any charecters or plot just put it there and build on it slowly.
Hi Buster. Good to here from you once again. Don't feel too stressed out about "having to" put out a new story or chapter.
We love everything you've done, but if you're not in the mood, then just take the time you need.
The inspiration will hit you when it should.
Merry Christmas, and Happy new year.
Are there any stories that are not completed yet? Maybe picking up a thread will help.
An idea.....what if....you ran fic as a quest somewhere. Get input on the fic as you go and it keeps things managable if things start to stall since others will be along for the ride. Then once you have got your story, just copy the horsewords to here.
Since most of your fics are NSFW, the two places I would say you could try to start something is Questionable Questing or Fiction.Live/Anon-kun.
an idea book where you write your thoughts down could be helpful.
Damn Buster, I’m really sorry you’re feeling like this. It doesn’t mean much but I do wish I could help. I’ve got a few idea of my own brewing that I think sound like something you’d churn out. But I won’t bother you with ‘em. I hope you can feel some of that spark again, or go with whatever makes you. No matter what, we’ll be here for you.
Love ya, dude.
It would be a real shame to see you go, you're easily my favourite author on the site.
I hope you find some muse to inspire you, to help you experiment and create, your stories are a joy to read.
I don't have much advice for a writers block, but I hope your words come back to you.
What if you tried writing just for yourself for a while?
I hope things go well for you.
It’s ok bud, take all the time you need. We got your back!
