Scootaloo, I Am Disappoint · 9:45pm Dec 8th, 2012
Okay, show of hands: how many of you are pissed that we learned nothing about Scootaloo in her episode? *Lifts up three hands* Woah, dafuq?
Anyways, I was really expecting to learn something about her. But alas, nothing. So, I'll take an extra day for the chapter, but please don't pressure me! I have a busy life, and I try my best. Absolute latest, Monday. I'm also writting the Toy Story crossover, and I'm on a roll with that, so truth be told I'll probably work a lot on that today and start Scoots tomorrow.
Also, I have proof read a story recently, called Bathtime for Pets by Master Venrix. Don't blame me if it's bad (which I don't think it is), but I'm still gonna endorse it.
Huh, I feel like I'm forgetting something. If I am and remember, read the comments.
It was a very good episode,a shame about not sharing her life or past. *Also raises three hands* What the...? PINKIE PIE!!!
588339 I agree. I loved the episode (I mean, Scootaloo and Luna? The only pony who could've made it better would be Derpy), especially the bonding between RD and Scoots. I'm just a bit disappointed that we learned nothing about her background story.
Hasbro, Y U Tease us with Scootaloo's past?
I'm happy. This lets me continue to claim that she lives behind the bowling alley in a refrigerator box, making enough money to eat by being an underage dope mule.
What?
588912 Meanwhile, in your average Scootaloo fanfic...
Hey, it seems reasonable enough to me. We're talking about one of a trio who thinks that a perfectly logical response to bullying involves sabotaging a vehicle to go off a cliff while their bully is in it. Homeless dope mule is an improvement.
588969 Yeah, I will honestly admit I've considered writing a fic where she gets adopted by Lyra and Bon Bon.
Now that'd just be adorable.
589072 Yeah, it's plausible for a future story. Lyrabon is the only F/F ship I like, and I hate to like it. But still, it would be cute.
I could almost see the meeting going like this:
"So, we've been hinting at this bonding between Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo since season 1, and now we're doing it. We're going to mention she's an orphan, right?"
"If we contradict the fanon, the bronies will mob us."
"But most of them say she's an orphan, don't they?"
"Most of them."
"Okay . . . let's leave it vague."
