In regards to the next chapter, ie: the arc finale. · 9:49pm Nov 15th, 2021
Honesty- as a certain somepony might say- is the best policy, so I thought it'd be best to be transparent about my progress so far.
It hasn't been great. 
I'm about five thousand words deep into it, and I haven't even really scratched the surface of what I want to do with the chapter. I've been thinking and literally dreaming about the events of this chapter for months now, and I'm finding that actually living up to my imagination is a little constraining.
Intimidating might be a better way to put it. It can be a little frustrating: trying to make the image in your head come out exactly right, and inevitably finding imperfections somewhere.
I think I might scrap what I've put into it so far so that I can try to come at it with a fresh start. Taking a step back to evaluate the events and shade my perspective differently after already writing a clearer picture of the scene might be the kick I need to flair up some real emotion and drama.
Of course, a creative restructuring is only going to make the chapter take longer, which is why I'm making this post at all. It's been about a week since the last chapter, and I'm more or less lacking anything to make up the time; which I feel badly about. I had been doing really well with putting content out at a decent pace, and now I've hit yet another of my usual hurdles.
Of course, I'm not that sorry about the time taken. This is the big finale we've all been waiting for, which is why I'm trying my darndest to make it as comparatively good as I can. Whatever might happen after these events, we will have hit a turning point.
There's not much more to say, since this blog is just yet another update about me taking forever for the next chapter again. It's familiar, and it won't be the last time; but I always feel better for at least making an attempt to keep people in the loop. Or a short day's travel from it.
So, yeah. Hopefully, I'll have another day soon where I stay awake for twenty hours on a bender and come up with ten thousand words out of nowhere. Not great for my health, but what creative-type takes care of themselves anyway? 
Just to check, is it the story conclusion or arc conclusion?

You think I'm creative enough to come up with a whole other premise for another story?
