Hiya! How's tricks? Are you doing well? 
Sorry I've not been around or writing much for, like, a month. I put out a side story a 'lil while ago, but it's honestly not my best work. You can go read it if you haven't, but I can do better—and I should've done better. It's just that writing has been... a tenuous activity for me for awhile now.
And for once, it's not because I'm undergoing a period of extreme faithlessness. December genuinely sucked for me. I had a terrible time of it, guys; you would not believe the kind of misfortune I suffered last month. I had some great plans to write my socks off, which all went to hell at pretty much every turn. My socks never came off, and I stepped in some foul substances.
If I wasn't sick—and I was, three separate times—I was having medical emergencies, and financial worries, and then my router malfunctioned and it's only been a few days since I was able to get a replacement. I had to deal with christmas while I had an ear infection and couldn't hear out of my left ear at all. Even my family had medical issues. and silksong never came out D:<
I had a bad time. Bad times all around. 
...But now my life is back to an equilibrium, and I'm back to writing! 
I'm picking up the little bit of progress I'd made on chapter 64 and running with it, and so far it's looking pretty okay! I'll have to wait until it's done and in the editing process to see if it'll turn out good, but I have some fairly high hopes for this one! It's gonna be exciting!
So don't worry about me! The writer you speculatively hold in okayish regard is doing fine and doing his best to trudge along! Things are progressing again, and since I feel bad about not having progressed in the past month, I'll probably be responding to more comments! Hooray for interactivity!

Damn, they done hit you with the plagues. I hope your luck improves moving into the year though, the medical/financial two-hit combo is never fun.
