Next chapter's in the editing phase.

Hey all, just wanted to put the good word out there. I managed to tough it out through uneasy decisions across nine thousand words, and the next chapter is mostly done and dusted.

Mostly, because I'm actually not too happy with it. For one, it's way longer than I'd meant to make it; but it does span a fairly large breadth of interaction and exploration. That particular nit isn't one I'm eager to pick, as long as you guys aren't tired of super long chapters. see that's funny because I don't think anybody likes my long, overly redundant word dumps

Really, I just think a lot of it falls kind of flat. I wrote it all on a ten-hour bender, and there are some places that just seem rather forced. As I got more and more tired and the chapter went on and on, the emotion just didn't really come across in a lot of scenes.

It might be a little while before it actually comes out, and that's why I'm making a blog about it. Don't fear my absence, I'm almost done!
