Happy Halloween all! · 3:17pm Oct 31st, 2021
I was thinking of writing a one-shot or maybe a short story for today, but no ideas really jumped out at me this time around. Maybe I'll post a little something in the next few days but I'm gonna be busy getting ready to move out (something I have to do by the end of November) so I'm not sure. In lieu of a new story though, I just decided to keep working on my existing stories for the time being—namely the next chapter of Survivor's Guide along with the next chapter for To Devour a God I was already working on.
But hey, if you guys have any ideas for a horror short story I'm all ears... well, so long as it falls within my niche anyway.
Story prompts, eh?

A new light shines down on Nightmare night this year. Twilight discovers that it is a star gone supernova. The light brings with it a startling metamorphosis, that merges ponies with a living version of any costume they are wearing, turning them into incarnations of said costumes. This largely cosmetic change wouldn’t in itself be a permanent issue, nothing that some research and magic couldn’t solve to separate Pony from costume. But then the minds of those affected begin to change. Becoming a monster may be bad, but completely losing that which is you only to be replaced by a beloved hero, is still death of the self.
That may be a bit too involved… but it’s what I got.
- Also, happy Nightmare Night!
Always so cheerful, keep it up dude.
