Quick update. I'm at efnw this weekend if anyone wants to try and say hello. You can leave a message here, but discord would be best to send a dm. You can also keep an eye out for my metal gear solid / time traveling Twilight shirt. (I used to have a Twilight's dollhouse shirt but I can't find it and this is. The. Worst. Possible. Thing.)

    New One-Shot

Hey all! It's been awhile. Apparently time flies, and the smoldering dumpster fire that is this tiny blue speck amongst the stars can be a bit distracting at times. Which is why I figured a little Escapism is in order!

Ponified Without Consent 2 FAQ · 3:28am Sep 13th, 2021

I made a blog to link to the story to answer some common questions.

Why was the original story canceled?

It was hard to keep five authors coordinated and find schedules that worked out. It was slow going and as author's lost interest, it only caused more delays and more loss of interest. It was ambitious and I'm so glad we gave it a shot, because each of the author's has their own amazing style and strengths.

Who were the authors?

Daemon of Decay - Master of description. if a picture is worth a thousand words, I'd still rather have the thousand words if Daemon of Decay wrote them.

Seven Fates - I can't think Human in Equestria without immediately thinking of Seven Fates, and When a Pony Calls.

Breath of Plagues - If you enjoy taking something innocent and pure and corrupting it, then he's the guy to ask. He mentioned a story about Lyra in passing once, I went ahead and read it, and it shook me.

TypeWriterError - Professional Writer, editor. They helped make my ok stories great, and were always supportive and fun to read.

Check them all out and comment on some of their stuff if you like their writing styles. We also had 4 editors who are worth checking out. Cerulean Starlight, Death The Kid, The Parasprite, and Rex Ivan. You can clearly see a quality difference between stories with and without editors, and they contributed as much time to make the story great as the authors.

Who is returning for Ponified Without Consent 2?

It's been eight years and everyone is busy, so just me for now. Several have offered feedback though on their character arcs, the old outline, and more. While I can't hope to match their writing styles, I'll do my best to mimic them. I will keep them as involved as I can while I turn the original ideas into a story.

Which ponies are coming back?

Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, Blue Blood, and Berry Punch.

Each was based on a different trope to ensure each was a distinct type of Human in Equestria. As the introductory story arcs were covered in the first story, we can move on to the attempts to escape or break Equestria, as well as meeting each other. The hope is for each to have their own story to tell with their own climax and conclusion. Whether or not they help each other or just bicker the whole time, we'll have to see.

Ask any other questions in comments

I'll add them to the FAQ, or just give you whatever kind of behind the scenes info your desire. It's always nice to explain and discuss ideas, it can be a big help to the writing process.

Kudos to you for attempting the revival of a classic fic. It's truly a shame how many old fics remain cancelled or on permanent hiatus, abandoned with little hope of return, so it is awesome of you to take the time to continue and finish the greatness that had been started.

Do what you want with the cheerings of a rambling dummy such as myself, though every bit of support counts, right?
Keep up the good work, man!

Thank you, it is encouraging to know there are some people out there would enjoy someone reviving 8 year old fics to give them a more proper conclusion. I was concerned at first anyone who knew of the original had long since moved on.
