Believe it or not, I actually got some chores done today.

And that's saying something, because if Diablo IV was this good at any point last year, it would have definitely been near the top of my Best Games of 2023. You know, instead of being omitted entirely.

So let's just say that Armored Core VI absolutely just got smacked out of the running for Best Yesteryear Game.

    Updates and Such

Well, as a thunderstorm rolls overhead (and hopefully doesn't knock power out), I thought I'd offer some updates on what I've been up to.

Long story short, I'm pretty much in gaming overload at the moment.

A thought occurs about G5. · 6:30am Aug 8th, 2021

So I just had a thought about all the farm content that is liable to pop up in the hours, days, and months following the new movie in September.

Who's ready for in-character stories to take a bomb dive???

In all seriousness, I'm wondering if 90-120 minutes is going to be enough to get a good grasp on these characters until the main series comes to flesh them out.

Another thought also occurred on the other side of my brain just now: Hey, moron. This concern is seriously coming from the guy who wrote SIX STORIES about Fizzlepop Berrytwist?

I think we'll be fine.

...touche.

Dude we've already got stories with the new characters before the movie came out. Nothing prevents this community from writing about anything and everything, even without true source material.

Now, doing it accurately is a whole other kettle of fish. :rainbowlaugh:

I mean let's be honest, how fleshed out were the main 6 at the start of the series? Pretty sure it took a bit before they stopped being one-note.

what everydaygamer said. That's the thing about the first entries into something new, especially when there's a whole franchise planned.

you think everyone knew every bit of Darth Vader's personality when the original 1977 movie came out? Hell no. He was one-note as hell. then came the other two films and the prequels and he's gone from a one-note baddie to a tragic anti-hero.
