What Have I been up to and What's been going on. · 7:42am Jul 31st, 2021
So as a lot of you may have noticed, A Sunset Across the Galaxy hasn't updated in nearly eight months (it'll be eight months by Tuesday), and other than writing 1 story for a contest a few months ago I really haven't been doing much Fimfiction wise.
So I am going to just say this, A Sunset Across the Galaxy is not cancelled and is not on Hiatus or any of that bullshit. I've mainly been struggling with Writers block and a very unhealthy dose of Depression (I've gained 50 pounds since January), and have been focusing on saving money (which really hasn't been going so well) and trying to lose weight (which again hasn't been going so well.) I'm slowly but surely working on Chapter 13, and Like I've said in the comment section for Across the Galaxy, it is going to be longer than the other chapters because I want to wrap up (or get close to wrapping up) the current Arc with Vader and the Dazzling's. So expect probably Chapter 12 and 13 as the main course of the Mustafar arc with 14 (When that eventually comes out) as the winding down resolution to that arc. After 14 is eventually released I will post a poll asking you guys what direction you want the story to take, but again that's for the future, and I have the main story beats planned out, this is mainly just getting input from you all my readers to figure out some minor things.
Again, Depression is shit, get help for it, it impedes your productivity something awful, and when you work the hours I do it really ruins your creative urges. I'm working through it, but their have been days where I sit down, write a couple of lines for the chapter and then stop for a week because I'm not motivated to do it.
So anyway, thank you for your patience, 13 will be out Soontm and I hope it can live up to ya'lls expectations, writing the fight scene between Vader and Sunset is difficult though, specifically because of the mindset Sunset is currently in story wise, but I'll try and get it right for ya'll.
On a side note here's a song I just found that's really getting me hyped to write this fight scene. I'm going to try and pump out more words tomorrow since it's my day off, so wish me luck!

Lol. It's something I tried when I was in high school and it didn't take me long to start losing weight. I actually lost too much weight at one point and the doctor warned me to stop.

I feel you on the depression... Ive been putting things off for 2 years, neglecting friends, family. Basically just go to work (which I hate) and going home only to bury my nose in fiction to escape this reality. Im FINALLY coming out of it, but its been dificult. The last year and a half have been anything but kind to everyone's mental state. Hang in there.

So, that meant we will not have Sunset in her thirties with 19 years old Leia (not with as couple, but with as in alongside her in the canon events of star wars with some modifications due to Sunset and the Dazzlings being there).
