I do still think of ponies, sometimes, I just don't have the time or mental energy to do anything useful with these thoughts, sadly.
However, pony thoughts and the current sizzling heatwave have collided and brought my mind back to what I think was the first time some nice persons read something of mine - Roadside Assistance! It's set on a hot day, you see, and expresses sentiments about the heat that I am expressing a lot myself these days.
There's not a lot of point in me bringing it up, I just genuinely thought how the heat is awful, remembered I'd written a line like that in a story about ponies, remembered that someone had read it and here we are.
Hey, still cool to hear from you regardless! :D
It is understandable. We hope you get to gather the energy needed at some point again. But if not, then there are multiple excellent quality stories from you to read.
Good to hear from you! Life with a new kid is exhausting (I've heard) so don't worry about it. One day the pony nonsense portion of your brain will hit full and away you'll go.
Don't feel compelled to be 'useful' on our account.
Getting tag-teamed by a needy child and the perfidious sky orb is more than enough excitement for anyone, I imagine.
Glad you're still kicking around but like many commenters have already said before me: Don't feel obligated to post things. Life is busy enough without adding more pressure to yourself.
I look forward to the inevitable story about Local Human Grahame, whoappeared Equestria with his wife and newborn son, having a conversation about first-time fatherhood with a nervous Big Mac who is expecting his first foal with Sugar Belle in a few weeks.
In all seriousness, glad to hear you are doing ok
We can do so much against the cold, much less so against heat. Hope it cools down for you.
