Now that I have announced my return, it's important I let everyone know where I am in life and what I am meaning to do. Before I get into any details, I want everyone to know that I love you all. Seriously. I haven't posted a single damm thing in... what? 4 years?! Something ridiculous. I genuinely thought this website would be nonexistent by now and I am pleasantly surprised to see that I'm wrong on that account. I thought everyone would've forgotten my stories but you haven't, and that means the world to me. It really does.
You are great, I have always thought so, and that's why I'm back. I know how these stories play out in my head, I don't NEED to write them down or share them at all. But I want to, and it's because of the love you all have shown me and this cartoon we all know and love.
To be honest, I haven't seen all of MLP. I haven't even seen half of it. I've only seen (I think) 2 or 3 episodes into Season 3. No movies. Nothing beyond that. So that's the first thing I want to talk about...
What I Haven't Seen
Since I haven't seen most of the show and don't particularly want to at this point in time, no characters that I don't already know will be featured in any story of mine going forward. I have no idea who Sunset Shimmer is. I have no idea who Starlight Glimmer is. I don't know anything. The only reason I even know of their existence at all is because of those... adult websites... you know what I'm talking about, let's carry on.
Point is, I'm only writing about what I understand, and I stopped understanding stuff in like 2015.
Update On My Life
A lot has happened since I first joined this website and decided to write This Magic Moment after seeing no stories featuring Princess Celestia, the ultimate waifu. At that time, I was 18. Then I went off to college which was a terrible mistake. I had depression in high school but it got 10 times worse in college. If I could go back and do it again, I would skip college, but oh well. Thankfully, it all worked out and, in 2017 just before graduating, I met my girlfriend. She is wonderful. It's like life didn't even exist before I met her. I have since proposed and we are getting married in September. My life is a world of difference now from where it was then.
As great as that is, I have realized that being happy in life has made me a worse writer. So, point is, be patient with me. I will finish these stories as I've always promised but it might be a bit different than before.
NOW, ONTO THE STORY UPDATES!!!
I Can't Help
Even though I think about this story the least in my regular life, this is the one I feel most motivated to finish. I have actually already gotten back on top of this story. My plan here is to go through every single chapter I've written thus far and make some small adjustments - not to the overall story, but some grammatical changes and a few other things. I'm not very pleased with how I made the story go and there are barriers I put in place years and years ago that will keep me from giving this story the ending I want.
The good news is I know exactly how I want this story to end. I even came up with an idea for a sequel (but I don't know if you all have the patience to wait another decade for me to start and finish such a thing). My edits have already started and will ideally be done in the next couple weeks. Once those edits are done I will update everyone and start pumping out the new chapters.
This Magic Moment
Ah, my first story. Love this story. I think about it a lot. Princess Celestia is bae, I will swear it with my last words on my deathbed. This particular story is way too long for me to go through and edit, so I'm not going to bother. I know where I want the story to head and have done an okay job at pointing it there thus far. I'm pretty much going to wing it.
I'm playing with the idea of shifting the POV around a bit for this story. It'll be easier for me to write if people can see things from Celestia's POV sometimes. It won't happen a lot, but just enough to make her more of a focal point and easier to write for. Remember, I've only seen the first couple seasons of the show so I don't really know a lot about her personality. I just know that she got that booty.
With My Wonderbolt
Still love this story. I was kinda rushing through it when I first started and it shows. I will carry on with this as well, I have a couple ideas on where to take it. It won't be anything too crazy. Unfortunately I probably won't get around to updating this one for a bit longer, I'm sorry.
Son Of The Moon
I have a bunch of files on my google drive for this story that need organizing. I had a good idea as to where to take this story but, after reading a lot of feedback, I'm not sure if I have the same end goal now. This is a cute story, which makes it harder for me to write. I'm not always in the mood to write cute shit. But I will carry on with this. Princess Luna as a mom? Gotta love it.
A New Emperor
Poorly received compared to my other stories. Haven't thought about this story since I last updated it. I might finish it. I know the ending already so I know where to take it. It's a very cute ending I think y'all would like. There's a chance I never touch this one again but we'll see.
Additional Ideas???
I don't know if anyone would be interested in the other ideas I've come up with since I've been gone. I have a habit of starting some and not finishing it, as you all can tell.
These new stories are kind of... different. I like how they sound in my head, I even tried to write them some of them down and see where that took me, but all of them sucked when I did a read through. Any of these new ideas are also Second Person POV btw. It's too late for me to try to write a different style at this point.
I came up with one idea while playing Star Fox 64. It's a little strange sounding and I'm hesitant to outline it here. The subject of it is kinda... dark. I don't think any of the stories I write are particularly dark. This idea is kinda like a Hatfields & McCoy / Prince of Egypt / Great Escape fuckmess. It's hard to describe.
The romantic interest would be Rainbow Dash. I've outlined several stories featuring Rainbow Dash because I love her but I've never been able to really make it work. Let me know your thoughts. I'd love to write something with her.
I came up with some other ideas doing things that are less noble than playing Nintendo 64. I spent time on Rule34... Not sure if I want to share anything beyond that... There's a popular fetish on there (especially featuring MLP characters) that I've discovered and was thinking of writing about. I've outlined one story actually with Princess Luna. And another with Rainbow Dash.
As to what the fetish is specifically, I'm too embarrassed to say. Just go to Rule34 and you should be able to make an educated guess. I didn't think anyone would want to read those so I haven't tried too hard.
How have I never written anything w/ Rarijack as a main focus? Those were always my favorite stories to read. I've always wanted to do something with them but, seeing all of the other stuff I got going on, I probably won't.
I have also come up with an idea that I thought I already posted on here. The first couple chapters are already complete, I wrote them years ago. It's a story with a cute OC I saw on the internet at some point in time: a red gryphon. This story is set in a pseudo World War 1 type of land outside of Equestria. I guess one of the reasons I haven't posted it is because barely any characters from MLP are in it. A couple have minor roles later on in the story, but most of the story includes only OCs since it isn't set in Equestria.
Other ideas??? I'm sure they'll pop into my head throughout life. It's funny that I didn't watch a whole lot of MLP but still have a love for all of these characters and that world. Anyway, that's where I stand with everything at the moment. Please share your thoughts either in the comments or in a message to me (yes I do read them, I don't always respond because I'm shy but I always read them). If something I said is a good/bad/great/terrible idea then I need to know.
Let me know what you all think of my plan to move forward with these stories and I'll get on them. These stories started as being projects for me to enjoy but have turned into projects for all of us

Tbf you might as well, We've been patient so far, some of us would probably even live to see the sequel.
Also, there's really nothing stopping you from rewriting bits of the story to swift those walls you mentioned. At this point, I think it's safe to say the readers have forgotten the details anyway; it's almost a clean slate.

Aw yiss! Unlike you I've thought about this on quite a bit over the years and am very pro-sequel. I think I already mentioned once during the before times that MLP is a strictly better setting for Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider stuff than the usual suspects.

It is literally a miracle that you are back. I legitimately thought you were dead. Reading that you are not only alive and doing very well, but are also going to finish your stories has made me ecstatic. I can’t wait to hear from you again.
