Path of the Tyrant Info Dump 2 · 9:00pm Jul 10th, 2021

Alright, here we go. This the info dump for Path of the Tyrant Part 2. For those of you who don't recall me cancelling the series to redo it you can find it on this blog (And no, commissions are still not back yet) https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/916953/important-news-assassination-of-twilight-sparkle-remake-and-commissions-are-open

Let's begin:
***

-Despite having no romantic feelings for each other, King Sterling and Queen Majesty work well in making Unicornia a powerful kingdom, having eventually betrayed the minotaurs and taking their lands while expanding their wars to the Kitsunes, Griffins, and Zebras. Majesty even fights sometimes to gain experience, and her ultimate goal is still to take over Equestria. She also is advised to make a deal with the Rebel Changelings who wish to return to the empire and old ways rather then the republic. This creates an "Axis" like alliance between Unicornia, Tirek and his Centaurs, and the Rebel Changelings. However, as Majesty focuses more and more on job as Queen she spends less time with her friends Jade and Forest, who are growing distant due to Forest love for Mira.

-However, Sterling's mother and sister, Princess Dahlia and Princess Eden Joy, are upset because Sterling is not listening to their advice or not making them have all the royal advantages they thought they were would get with Sterling as king, but he tells them that being king has made him open his eyes to the fact that he needs to play smart and not at their whims. His sister accuses him of being in actual love with Majesty, but he doesn't confirm or deny that. Meanwhile, Majesty soon finds herself in contact with the Nihilions, who state that they wish for her to join them but she refuses until they tell her they know who killed Prince Silversteel She demands to know, but they stay they will tell her when the time is right, but do give information as a gift that Dahlia and Eden Joy are planning to kill her the same way that they killed Queen Stormy.

-After finding out on her own if this is true or not thanks to Copper Penny, Majesty confronts Sterling and asks him if he knows of what happened. Sterling confesses that yes they did kill the Queen, but they are not responsible for Silversteel's death. He then confess she is in love with her, but will accept whatever punishment she wishes to give him. She tells him that they still need each other, and in order to prove her loyalty to him, she orders him to kill his mother and sister. Which he does by arranging a car accident intentionally that kills them. Majesty pretends to forgive him, but secretly plans on just keeping him alive until she has a child with him for her legacy and then kill him.

-Meanwhile, Jade finds out that Mira is actually working with a Flutterpony revolution and tries to tell Forest, but she doesn't believe her. With no other choice, she goes to Majesty and asks her to help get rid of Mira while sparing her brother, but Majesty feels that Forest is to dangerous to survive and so she arranges both their deaths with the Nihilions, promising them positions of power as asked if Forest's death can be made to look into a suicide out of grief of Mira's death. However, Jade manages to see her brother get murder with Mira that night and realizes that Majesty betrayed her trust. She flees when the Nihilions try to kill her to silence her, but she ends up escaping by jumping into a river, but is believed dead anyway. Majesty finds herself heartbroken to hear that Jade is also dead and admits to Copper Penny she feels like she is losing herself. It is then finally revealed who was behind the assassination of Silversteel: Majesty's own family. Majesty denies it until they give her a potion that allows her to look back into time (The same Zecora gives Twilight in Season 4 opening)

-It's shown that Nazo advised August Blueblood to have Silversteel assassinated because Sterling would be a better choice for a husband. Despite August stating that this is going to far, Nazo tells him his brother's will was to always follow his advise so that the Bluebloods could become the rulers of Equestria with everything that Majesty must suffer from, even if it's wrong, is to make her strong enough for the throne. Heartbroken and betrayed, Majesty feels like she has been used by everyone in her family, including her father. This breaks her mentally, and she gets even by getting her entire family, from the oldest to the youngest, in a trap. Using magic similar to Tirek, that he has taught to Majesty, in combination with technology from Professor Petrie, Majesty absorbs the magic and souls of her entire family to make herself even more powerful, and kills them all despite her pleas. She even desacrates her father's grave stating that she will rule Equestria, but will rule it on her own terms rather then her fathers.

-She the confronts Nazo who tells her that he manipulated her entire life. As she prepares to kill him we learn Nazo's backstory from his POV, Nazo has always seen nothing but visions of destruction and death and longed for there to be an end to it. So he was contacted by Nitharus who showed him the greatest vision he ever had: nothing. TO bring about this nothing, he swore to serve her. His entire goal was to manipulate Majesty's life to break her into becoming Nitharus's perfect servant and help bring the end of all existence. Nazo is soon killed and the only one she spares is Copper Penny who is still loyal to her despite him trying to still gear her towards a better path.

We're going to stop right there. A part 3 will come later this month or next.

Yikes, the part with Majesty killing her whole family and desecrating her father’s grave was probably the darkest part. It truly signifies her full descent into villainy. Nazo got what he wanted all right, a monster capable of destroying all of existence. That might make him arguably the biggest villain of this series, for manipulating Majesty into making her what she is.

Majesty denies it until they give her a potion that allows her to look back into time (The same Zecora gives Twilight in Season 4 opening)

Since she learned of her family scheme of using her. I wish she'd used that potion to learn the truth about Twilight and everything that happened before and after her assassination as well as learn how her family been planning all this for a thousand years.

If she did she might see things differently and try to make things right....maybe.

This is what I and I think others have been following the story waiting for. Now I'm starting to care about Majesty as she now has personal conflict, awareness, and agency in the story. If only it happened sooner...

Majesty's life just keeps getting worse every second doesn't it?

all I can say is holy smoke!
