ohhh that's a great question! I'm leaning towards an adventure time esque situation where it's rare since you'd have to be absolutely fucking insane to nest in a high isotope concentration area, but radioactive materials give them an undead vibe. I'm thinking a withering/rotting breath, possibly leading to lichdom at the elemental stage.

Okay, that one is a joke... mostly.
But in all seriousness, I would expect the scales to have a durability to heat that far exceeds that of a standard, ore-raised dragon, a passive, extreme body temperature that can bring water to boil upon contact or immersion and a degree of nuclear fallout from their fire-breath, but something more akin to a Dirty Bomb than true Nuclear Weaponry.
...
Possibly even Chernobyl sort of events if one is killed, but not if it died of natural causes... though, maybe not quite to that extreme of a level.

eh, if i wanted godzilla id go watch a monster movie lol. i find it far more interesting to have the natural reaction of magic with radiation to be anti-life than just plain ol radiation but magic

I'm not particularly familiar with Godzilla, but I know enough to emphasise that I said the fire-breath would NOT be like a nuke.
Dirty Bombs carry radioactive particles in their smoke and only affect the organisms that breathe them in (or whatever fish do to get O2 out of water). The fire would just be fire.
As for what happens with the scales, that was because most irradiated ores do have an insanely high heat resistance in comparison to most standard metal ores, and the boiling water thing was a combination of knowing what nuclear rods do to water and for an off-hand reference to Avatar: the Last Airbender, with Iroh in the rock pools.
The Meltdown thing was more a case of 'If you want it'.

Eh no sale, not the aesthetic I want, plus I already have a whole thing planned where the minerals ingested have esoteric metaphysical ramifications on the dragon's elemental core, so radioactive rocks=radioactive dragon is a bit too reductive for the framework I have in mind.
You know, I kind of forgot what story I read from you, that made me follow you. So...question? Whats your work that your most happy with? I think it would be cool to start read their for fun!

As for my favorite work, that's a difficult question! tbh I have an issue with being fairly hypercritical of my own work in retrospect, but my favorite nsfw thing I have made is Children of the Sun if that is your wheelhouse. My favorite safe-for-work venture is probably Not Another Anon Story, but Anon Buys the Everfree Forest is getting a lot of love lately as well!
